It was bound to happen, just a matter of time

The baby boomers finally reached their prime

They cleaned up their act, got off of the crack

Cut off their locks and ran for the Senate

It was clear we couldn't beat 'em, we were forced to join their ranks

Proving that old adage still remains the same

With our people in the oval office, we still may stand a chance
