Goodbye

How does one say goodbye to those you have loved? For you have loved them for such a long time. Do you see, my friend, that I cannot say goodbye, only hello. For I shall see you again, in time. Do not look behind yourself, or up ahead in front. I shall be walking beside you, thinking of times that we shared. Once, I gave you support when needed. Hold onto this, for I shall always cherish those times, for you were also there for me. Good, bad, right or wrong, I was there to share the time. Goodbyes I shall not say! Think of you, I shall, so to never be alone. Memories become my company when I miss you, for you are not gone. Close to you, I shall always be, as you for me. To say goodbye, I think not! Goodbye is forever and that will not do. As long as there are memories of a day when we became friends, there will never be a goodbye.
