A Black Day

Two men had a dream they shared, of a more tolerant society. They opened their minds, and they opened their homes, to make it a reality. The people came from miles around, because they had the same dream, too. The war pigs tried to shut them down, and a deadly battle ensued. It was a black day in September, out at the Rainbow Farm, when the top cops and the FBI came calling fully armed. There'll be no more Roach Roast Festivals, or Hemp-Aid Jamborees. A very black day, indeed, for the Counter-culture community. Our Freedom Fighters stood their ground, and bravely fought for their beliefs, but Tom Crosslin and Rolland Rohm were murdered by the police.
