As the firstborn of the Zodiac

When the stars were still new

The fiery Aries child was naturally born to rule

Blessed with the brilliance of the Sun and Mars

We are the social lights of the stars

You will find us on the center stage

Commanding full attention

Or sitting in the driver's seat

Going in our own direction

Blessed with a vivid imagination

And aggressive energy

At times I've been known to be a bit reckless

And act quite impulsively

Prone to fits of temper and bouts of jealously

I am often times too trusting and easily deceived

I can be a little bossy, I like to have my way

As long as I get to call the shots the two of us can play

I dance to the beat of a distant drum

The far-out sound of the rhythm of the sun

While courageously determined

To beat life at its game

I will take what I get and make the most out of it

And you won't hear me complain
